Arlene Kent-Powell

Arlene Dee Kent-Powell, 73, Kansas City, KS, formerly of the Oceanside, CA area and Louann, AK passed away August 19, 2008.  She volunteered her time as a cook at Neighbor 2 Neighbor in Kansas City, MO, was a member of American Legion El Dorado, and also volunteered her time at Brother Beno’s in Oceanside CA.  Surviving her are her two daughters, Kathy (Ben) Moore and Donna Kay Harris; son, Robert Kent; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.  A celebration of life will be at Neighbor 2 Neighbor Westport Methodist Church, KCMO on August 30, 2008 at 4:00 PM.  A memorial service will also be held at Eternal Hills, Oceanside, CA at a later date.  The family wishes to thank Hospice Advantage for their loving care for Arlene.
