Arthur Blake

Arthur Blake, 68, Riverside, MO passed away Monday, April 7, 2003. Graveside services will be held 9:00 am Friday, April 11 at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Art was born March 1, 1935 in Taylor, MO. He proudly served in the Korean War. His greatest joy in life was his membership in the Missouri River Boating Association and the fine friends he made over the many years. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Smith and husband Les of Gladstone, MO; son, Russell Hoffmeier of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Robin Bayer and husband Dan of Overland Park, KS; 6 grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Smith, Tiffany, Patrick, Kelly and Madison Bayer, and devoted life-long friends Bill Williams and his wife Lillian of Gladstone, MO. He is also survived by a sister, Connie Landis and husband Robert of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Merle Blake and wife Pansy of Valrico, FL; Leland Blake of St. Perersburg, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
