Carla Dozier

Carla Jo Morris Dozier passed away surrounded by loving family and friends on May 20, 2007. Carla was born in Kansas City, MO on April 11, 1956 to Robert and Ruth Morris. Carla lived the majority of her life in Prairie Village, KS and Overland Park, KS graduating from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1973 and attending The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Kansas. Carla was a caring and loving daughter, sister and mother who lived life to the fullest everyday. She was an artistic and creative soul who cherished time spent with loved ones and trips to the ocean. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Morris and her sister Alana Morris. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Berger and father Zane Berger; brother Jeffrey Morris and his wife Ann Morris of Austin, TX , daughter Robyn Dozier-Fulks and son-in-law Bradley Fulks of Gladstone,MO and son Andrew Brooks Dozier of Overland Park, KS. Services will be held at Congregation Beth Torah, 6100 w. 127th , Overland Park, KS 66209 Tuesday May 22nd, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. Services in the home will be held Thursday, May 24th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m at the Berger Residence, Prairie Village, KS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7611 State Line Road, Ste 200, Kansas City, MO 64114.; or Congregation Beth Torah, 6100 w. 127th, Overland Park, KS 66209.
