Charles Traner

Charles L. Traner, 63, Kansas City, MO passed away March 25, 2010.  Visitation will be held 6-7:30 PM, Monday, March 29^th at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO.  Funeral services will follow 10AM, Tuesday March 30 at Heartland.  Burial in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.  Chuck was born June 25, 1946 in KC, MO.  He loved to coach little league baseball and coached SSJBA for many years.  Chuck also loved bowling, and was involved with the cub scouts.  He was in the Navy and spent time at the South Pole & Alaska.  Chuck retired from Local # 533 pipe fitters union.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Etta Traner.  Survivors include; wife of 42 years, Janice, of the home; son Michael Traner; daughter, Stacy Traner; half sister, Sharla Ashmore, and many cousins.
