Claudean Lupear

Claudean Warren Lupear, 91, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away at home on September 13, 2009. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at Crown Hill Cemetery, 270 West 34th Street, Indianapolis, IN. (enter through main gate off of 34th st., make 1st right turn, then another right at the first street, follow to gravesite on left), followed by a tribute of life memorial service at 4:30 PM, Lakeview Wesleyan Church, 430 Lakeview Dr. Noblesville, Indiana 46060. Claudean was born March 25, 1918, in Warren’s Mill, Kentucky. She grew up in McHenry, Kentucky, graduated from Central Park High School, and attended Western Kentucky Teacher’s College in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She married George S. Lupear, and resided in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was employed by the Marion County Center Township Trustee’s Office until her retirement, later moving to Shawnee, Kansas. Claudean was preceded in death by husband George S. Lupear, parents William Orville and Lula Warren, brother William O. Warren Jr., and sisters Pansy Warren and Geneva Ross. Survivors include brothers Gene(Gaynell) and Ralph Warren of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, daughter Georgia Clifford (Harry) of Shawnee, Kansas, son Samuel Lupear(Peggy) of Fishers, Indiana, grandchildren Shawn Johnson(Frank), John Crone, Tony Smith(Lisa), and Bobbi Sanders(Todd), greatgrandchildren Francesca, Sam, and Jacqueline Johnson, Austin and Colin Sanders, and Jacob and Heidi Smith. “Aunt Claudean” also leaves a large number of loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or charity of choice.
