    Dean & Deb,
We just received word of Dean Sr.’s passing. Even though we only met him on a few occasions during hockey events, it was clear he had a great life and left his influence on his family.

Our prayers are with you during this tough time.

Some of my fondest memories of law school entailed drinking his homebrewed beers and shooting the breeze with him. He made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. He will be missed!

Janet, I’m so sorry for your loss. I thought so much of Dean and we had so many fun times at the festivals and of course at Hartsburg jamming. My thoughts go out to you and your family. He will be missed by so many.

    Deb,
I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your father-in-law, Dean, Sr. I am very familiar with losing a beloved family member and feel your family’s pain. If I can offer a word of advice, remember and laugh at all of the wonderful memories you and your family have with Dean’s father. I believe that is what he would want. Take care of each other’s hearts. My condolences — Terrie

    Dean-
On behalf of everyone at Lucy’s in McBaine, MO, it hasn’t quite been the same without you, now you are forever gone, but never forgotten. You were definitely one customer I loved to greet with your favorite flavor, Budweiser. Today I’ll make sure to have one for you! So glad to have known you!

    Dean,

You were a genuinely good person, kind, pleasant, good to be around, and a wonderful bass player! You will be sorely missed by a great many folks in this world, and particularly by myself and the Mystery Men. I feel confident that God has made a place for you in His kingdom, and that you have traded the Mystery Men and the jam sessions at Lucy’s for Heaven’s own
    Angel Band.

Peace be with you forever my good friend and fellow player, and I’ll see you when I get there.

    Dale Palmer
