Dennis Harris Niles, 57, of Columbia entered into eternal rest Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Boone Hospital.  Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a visitation service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Bethel Baptist Church.  Dennis was born Feb. 13, 1951, in Moberly to the late Dorsey and Alene Forbis Niles.  He married Sue M. Hague on Feb. 27, 1970, at Bethel Baptist Church in Columbia, and she survives him of the home. To this union there were two children born: son Mark Niles and daughter Shelly Niles, both of Columbia.  Dennis is also survived by his sister, Deanna Duemmel of Columbia, as well as his four grandchildren, Mitchell Niles, Kaitlin Niles, Taylor Kirby and Paige Niles, all of Columbia.

    Sue & Deanna, I remember you both from the Town & Country days, I was very saddened by the news of Dennis’s passing.

    Dear Sue and Family,
    I’m so sorry to hear of Dennis’ passing. What an honor it was for me to get to know him and care for him. He was a great man and made it obvious how much he loved you when we visited in the chemo room. My thoughts and prayers are with you, we care so much for you, as we did Dennis. We will miss him.
