Dawayne “Buddy” Smith, 47, Bates City, MO passed away August 29, 2003 at home. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, September 2, 2003 at Family Worship Center, 1210 Hwy 7, Pleasant Hill, MO. Friends may call 1-2:30 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to help the family with final expenses. Buddy was born March 26, 1956 in Kansas City, MO. He worked as a driver and lead man for Qualex Inc. for 15 years. Buddy is preceeded in death by his parents, Lester Gouldsmith and Lela Moore; and his sister Darlene Reddell. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 8 years, Brenna (Davidson) Gouldsmith, of the home; sisters, Doris Galvin, Blue Springs, MO, Velma Beymer and Mary Wright, both of Kingsville, MO; brothers, Donald Reddell, Spring Hill, KS, Michael Moore, Independence, MO, Patrick Moore, Excelsior Springs, MO; mother and father in law, Donald and Carole Davidson, Platte City, MO; 11 nephews, 9 nieces,and 11 great nephews and nieces.
