Uncle Doug will definatly be missed by many. He was a great guy who always had a good story to tell or a joke. I will miss him driving like a crazy man and just stopping by to say hi and see how everyone is doing. When my mom got sick- one day he gave me a big hug and said now melsie remember if you ever need anything to call uncle Doug. He was a person who loved his kids and his family oh yeah and his cars 🙂 He fought harder than anyone should have to– he is with my Aunt Sam now and boy oh boy imagine those conversations that are happening as we speak. I will miss him and remember him for the rest of my life. Love you Uncle Doug

Doug will be missed greatly by many. He is the most brave and courageous person I have ever known. He kept a positive outlook through much adversity and was always there to help anyone with a cheerful attitude. I was so blessed to have him as a brother. Doug was a devoted son and brother, loving husband, caring father, a good neighbor and valued friend to many. Our memories of Doug and his generosity, courage in the face of adversity, positive outlook, and great wit that he displayed throughout his life, has touched many and will live on in each and every one us. I love him and will miss him dearly.

I just learned of Dougs passing, I am very sorry for the lost. I first meet Doug in grade school at Ott. We stayed friends all the way through high school. We had a lot of fun talking about hunting, cars, racing around town in cars or doing other things that we probably shoundn’t have been doing. I only saw Doug from time to time since high school but always considered him as a good friend. He will be missed by many. I will keep him and all of his family and friends in my prayers.

I just heard of Doug’s passing. It doesn’t seem that long ago, we were kids running around Uncle Parie and Aunt Atta’s farm. It was never dull when Doug and the girls were around. You can bet its an exciting reunion in heaven. My sympathy to Daniel and Jaime and all the rest. Take Care and God Bless.

I met Doug through my friend Chuck, and I will never forget him. He had a boisterous way that I had never encountered before. It was on a deer hunting trip that the three of us took to sweet springs. The memorable thing about this trip was that none of us bagged a deer, but we all managed to save a little buck that had become entangled in a barbed wire fence. After that day Doug was my friend and I his. Although it was the rare occasion that we got together I will always consider him a friend. I wish his family, Daniel, Jamie, Mister Bill and Miss Linda my deepest condolances
