Elmer E. Hanks, 76, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Friday, February 21, 2003 at home. Cremation. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 28 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to American Lung Association or Carondelet Hospice. Gene was born May 30, 1926 in Blue Springs, MO. He retired from TWA in 1989 after 37 years. Gene is survived by his wife Delores Hanks of the home, one daughter Dana Lake and her husband Michael, and one granddaughter.
