I would like to express my deepest sympathy. I worked with Gary for 25 years at GM. I will miss the apples and peaches. I will miss the great conversations we had (politics, boats, fishing, cars). But most of all I will miss the character, pride and professionalism Gary had. Gary saw the big picture. May the peace of the Lord be with you.

I too started working for Gary about 24 years ago at GM. He treated me and everyone that worked for him with respect and fairness. He never felt he was better than his workers just because he was management. We miss his straightforward style of managing. My condolences to the entire family as he will be sorely missed as a great husband, father, and grandfather.

I worked for Gary for the last 4 years in GA at the Wentzville Assembly Center. A very nice and fair man. He knew I was into old Jeeps and we always talked about finding him one for his farm. I’m from the New Melle area and we talked often about the old days when New Melle and Hwy T. were just a spot on the map. Gary will be truely missed by all that knew him.
