Guy James Atkisson, 66, of Linn, MO passed away December 20, 2007 at his home. Guy was born on February 21, 1941 to Arthur and Evelyn (Cadwell) Atkisson in Bakersfield, California. Services were held on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Community of Christ Church in Linn, MO with elder Shane Atkisson officiating. Guy is survived by his wife, Judy of Linn, MO, three sons; Sean Atkisson of Provo, Utah, Shane and Shannon Atkisson both of Linn, MO, one daughter, Kimberly Fitzsimmons of Holts Summit, MO, one sister, Florence Wyatt of Colorado Springs, CO, as well as 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor?s choice.

So sorry to hear of Guy passing. My heart and thoughts are never far from CairoJacksonville friends, especially classmates. I will always cherish the memories of you, Guy and kids visiting us in Portland. (As I remember the kids really like cheese.) Your cheerful personality and kindness has been an inspiration to many and with God, faith, family and friends, the loss you now carry will be lessened. Keep in touch.

So sorry to hear of your loss. You may not remember me as you were younger, I grew up with your older sisters. I lost my husband in 2005 from cancer also. Know that they are in a better place and we’ll see them agian one day.
