Hajrija Turner, 48, born Feb. 14, 1962 in Bosanski, Novi to Osman & Fatima Sahbaz, passed away Monday, August 2 in her home after a lengthy bout with cancer. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday August 14, 2010 at Calvary Episcopal Church in Columbia. Burial of her cremains will follow in Columbia Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her father Osman. She is survived by her husband, Charles, son Sanjin, daughter Maria; & six brothers & sisters. She will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Missouri Cancer Association.

Hajrija was a wonderful woman, friend and mother. She was very kind to me and I will always remember her quick laugh and good humor.
