Howard D. Duncan, 76, Gladstone, MO passed away August 1, 2003 at Pleasant Valley Manor. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, August 4, 2003 at St. Luke’s Eposcopal Church, Excelsior Springs, MO. Howard enjoyed a long life of service to his country and to others. He was a teacher and coach for the Park Hill School District for 31 years. As a great devotee to children and families, Howard also managed Sun n’ Surf Swim Club for 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; four daughters, Kimberly, Melissa, Ganne, and Lindy; one granddaughter; four grandsons and one great-grandson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Southern Care Hospice, 1225 N. Jesse James, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024.
