Jean Gossett, 77, Independence, MO passed away July 13, 2008 at The Groves. Jean lived in Independence her entire life, and worked as a florist, and was the previous owner of the Weston Flowerbowl. She is survived by a brother James W. "Bill" Pimblott III and a sister Cheryl Coffman She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 1-2 p.m. with a memorial service to start at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2008 at Christ United Methodist Church, 14506 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055.

I knew Jean through my mother, Iris Dougherty of Croft Rentals in K.C., MO. Jean was a good friend to me introducing me to my wife, Debbie Titus, an employee of hers.
