I knew Mrs. Lynch only through the stories her neice shared with me. I know she was loved by her two neices and held a special place in their hearts. My sympathy goes out to her neices.

I am a Realtor and helped Norma sell her house when she had decided to move into Tiger Columns. She was a real sweetheart and I have thought of her many times over the years. I had hoped to see her again, and had really had her on my mind for the last month. May God bless her and her family. She was a very dear little lady.

I admired Norma very much. Back in the 70’s, Parents Without Partners was meeting in her basement to assemble the monthly newsletter. I remember her telling us what remodeling she was doing and that she was doing the work herself.
We connected again a few years ago when she was coming from the Tiger Assisted Living to the Columbia Area Senior Center for tai chi class and the Friday seminars. She had had a serious injury, but managed to get back on her feet and was determined to stay on her feet.
    A beautiful, plucky lady!

I am a nurse who cared for Mrs. Lynch at Lenoir and she was always so kind to all the staff and other residents. Though her anxiety kept her from believing in herself, when she accomplished something, her whole face would light up. She was such a joy to be around and I missed her when she returned to Candlelight.
