Randall “Randy“ Scott Pennington, 44, son of Billy & Rhoda Pennington of Edwards, MO., was killed in a tragic accident on Saturday Sept. 26, 2009. He leaves behind his wife and “best friend,“ Lori, son Billy and daughter Michaela, of the home, his son Brian and fiancé Jessica, their daughter, and beloved granddaughter, Laken, his daughter Krystal and fiancé Jimmy, their two sons and worshipped grandsons Daniel and Ronnie. Randy lived his childhood in Raytown, MO, before relocating, with his family, to Lansing, KS. He moved to Edwards, MO to satisfy a lifelong dream of living at the lake. Randy had battled cancer, and was a strong survivor. He leaves behind sisters, Rhonda, Paula, Vickie and brothers Darryl and Doug, nieces and nephews that were blessed to have known “Uncle Randy,” brothers and sisters in law that admired him, along with a large extended family that adored him. To know Randy, you knew what the word “friend” meant, he knew no strangers. He leaves a void in our hearts that can never be filled. He will be greatly missed, and we love you Randy, watch over us until we meet again.
