Friends for 30 years…but it wasn’t long enough. Your love, listening, kindness, unforgettable laugh, smile, encouragement, intelligence, and friendship are only a few of the things I love about you. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you in my life. I will never stop thinking, remembering or loving you.

Mike, Brian & Aaron…I have had the very great pleasure of knowing and working with Sheila for several years. She was an absolute joy to be around, and an inspiration for us all. She always had a smile on her face, and usually something funny to say. You would have never known there was anything in the world wrong. She carried herself with class, dignity, and humor throughout her struggle. We will all miss her terribly. I know this is probably the most difficult time you have faced in your lives. Find comfort in knowing that your wife mom’s pain is gone, and that she is at peace, living in God’s house now. Take care, and God Bless.

Michael, My friend, I do not know two people who got more quality out of life than you and Sheila. Mike,
We remember years ago we’d always ask,”are you seeing anyone special”. Your reply was always, “no”. And then years later, to our suprise, you brought home Sheila and announced, “we’re getting married”. We were so happy that you finally find that special someone to share your life with. You and Sheila had so much in common and lived your lives to the fullest of each day.Sheila was a very strong person who had a smile for everyone. Sheila was a caring mother and a loving wife. You two have shared a lot of happy memories together and as long as you keep those in your heart, she will always be with you, in mind, body, and soul.

Mike and family. My thoughts are with you. Sheila fought so hard and kept up her amazing positive attitude the whole time. I really enjoyed getting to know her over the past 10 years. I’ll always remember our KUMU rivaly moments and I’m sure she will somehow continue to give me a hard time when the Tigers beat the Jayhawks.

I will always treasure our times together and remember her great sense of humor, her contagious laugh, and the kind and caring person she was. Sheila’s postive attitude toward life and fighting her cancer was absolutely amazing and will continue to be an inspiration to me as well as everyone’s life she touched. I truly miss her, yet I know one day we will be together again. Tara

Mike, Brian & Aaron – I don’t know how many times I told Sheila she was my inspiration. Not only was she one of the best managers I ever had, but her strength inspired me to be a better person. Even with all she was going through there were many times when I’d hear her in her cube laughing. She was a great joy to be around. Every time I think of her and her wonderful attitude I strive be a better person. I’m sure I’m not the only one that will be forever changed for having known her. She leaves a wonderful legacy of inspiration to many of us.

I cannot believe it has been two years since you went to heaven. Somehow we are all doing pretty well. Aaron has one more semester of undergrad before going to pharmacy school. Brian recently got a promotion and has really started to mature. A day never goes by that you are not thought about. The walk is this weekend. Our team numbers are down but we are still striving for a cure. I love you honey.
