Walter Furlong

Walter Stephens Furlong, 81, of Sturgeon passed away July 29, 2008 at his home.  Walter was born on April 19, 1927 in Mokane, MO to Steve and Mary (Woods) Furlong.  A memorial service will be held for Mr. Furlong on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Reaching New Heights Ministry in Sturgeon, MO with the Pastor Sandy Kietzman officiating.  Walter is survived by his nine children:  Betty Furlong, Donald Furlong, Jackie Smith, Mary Creason, Wilma Smith, Edward Furlong, Zelda White, Walter Furlong, and Corla Morgan; and one brother, Donald Furlong.  He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Furlong, as well as three children, Andrew, William, and James Furlong.
