Willa Eastman, born on July 7, 1949, peacefully passed away on July 25, 2024. Willa’s life was marked by dedication, compassion, and a commitment to the pursuit of knowledge.
A proud graduate of Trinity Lutheran Hospital School of Histologic Technique, Willa began her career with ten years of devoted service in a veterinarian office, where her meticulous work and love for animals left a lasting impact. Her professional journey continued at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she spent 25 years as a respected histologist. Willa’s expertise and dedication to her field earned her the admiration of colleagues and the gratitude of countless students and researchers.
Willa is remembered for her unwavering support of her family and her gentle, caring nature. She is survived by her beloved sister, Lani, as well as her nephews, Lee and Larry. Her extended family, including Taylor, Cody, Levi, and Loree, will forever cherish her memory and the many ways she touched their lives.

Willa’s warmth and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
