For Our Family Owned Business, Reputation is Everything
With the belief that families in Midwest were looking for an alternative to traditional funeral homes, Andrew and Elizabeth Loos created Heartland Cremation & Burial Society for “Those That Just Want Cremation”. In 2001, Heartland Cremation & Burial Society made it’s first home in a beautiful funeral home in Raytown, Missouri. With the addition of a crematory, Heartland Cremation & Burial Society became the first Cremation Society to own and operate it’s own, on-site, crematory in the Greater Kansas City Area.
In 2004, Heartland Cremation & Burial Society expanded their operation to include an innovative, convenient Cremation Arrangement Center in Overland Park, Kansas. Heartland was the first Cremation Society licensed to offer the same low cost, affordable & Worry Free cremation services in both the states of Missouri & Kansas. The communities of Leawood, Prairie Village, Lenexa and Olathe have all welcomed the addition of their Cremation Arrangement Center.
As Heartland Cremation & Burial Society grew beyond the Greater Kansas City area, increasingly families from Columbia, Missouri were inquiring about their great service options. So in 2006, Joe & Rachel Kinney established the Central Missouri office of Heartland Cremation & Burial Society. With Joe’s nearly 10 years of experience in the cremation business, he was a perfect fit with the goal of helping families facing financial challenges in Columbia, Boonville, Macon & Jefferson City, Missouri.
Today, Heartland Cremation & Burial Society’s professional staff has earned a reputation of being ‘remarkable. ‘ Day and night, Heartland’s staff understands the urgency to be kind, straight forward and helpful to the communities they serve.
