Arture “Rhett” Farr, 50, Farley, MO, passed away May 8, 2005. Memorial Services will be 4-9 p.m. Saturday, June 11 at an art studio on the Platte River, 1115 Platte River Rd., Farley, MO. Contributions may be made to the family for cremation expenses. Rhett was born November 20, 1954. He was a true free spirit who spent most of his life working, helping friends and cooking BBQ while camping outdoors in FL, MN and MO. He was known as a talented and methodical carpenter and welder. He was an outdoorsman who loved to read. He also had written a number of original works of poetry. Rhett fabricated several unique welded steel works of art, although he never thought of himself as an artist. He will be remembered as a kind, caring person, who always put other people before himself. Rhett was very close with his friends and pets, cat Roscoe, and dog Chief. Rhett is survived by two brothers and their families and other family members in Florida.
He was a true Southern Gentleman, and an early psychedelic pioneer, a test of minds, when we had no guides.
