CDR Clarence Robert Beyer USN Ret.

 Bob Beyer, 88, died on July 15th at his “home” at Blue River Rehab Center, KCMO with his daughter, his nurses, and the staff of Grace Hospice in attendance. Bob spent 21 of his working years in the Navy and the rest in Dept of Energy. He spent most of his Navy years at sea, starting in the Pacific in 1942 during WWII. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and sister of Renovo, PA, his son Larry, his beloved wives: Ruth of 35 yrs, Barbara of 5 yrs, and Margaret of 17 yrs. He is survived by his daughters, Judy of KCMO and Cheryl of S. Lake Tahoe CA, 2 grandsons, Lewis and Clark of Missoula MT, and several step-daughters, step-sons, and step grandchildren of Florida. Services and burial will be held later this Fall in Allentown PA. We celebrate his wonderful life. He was the “captain of the ship” in his work and in our hearts. We were so fortunate to have him in our lives. Cremation.
