Virgil “Bud” L. Wiltfong, 87, Cameron, MO passed away January 30, 2011 at Missouri Veterans Home, Cameron, MO. Graveside services will be held 11:00AM, Friday, February 4, 2011 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Bud was born to Alec & Jewel Wiltfong on June 13, 1923 in Oxnard, CA. Bud was a truck driver most of his life and was known as “one of the best.” Bud earned the driver of the year and many drivers of the month awards. He loved driving and that was the life he knew and loved. He knew people all across the country; knew about their families and cared. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 66 years. Bud had a fun sense of humor. He is preceded in death by; grandson, Jared Ollison. Survivors included; sons & daughters in law, Bud & Marie Wiltfong, Ben & Kim Wiltfong; daughters & sons in law, Bonnie & Daryl Hilt, Barbara & Sam Seale, Beverly & Ken Ollison; former wife, Eva Wiltfong; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. 5 Bs Uncle Bud enjoyed life, his career, and loved his family. He gave us many memories to recall and he left us while asleep. (The perfect life.) His soul is now at rest and we will miss him very much. God bless you all.
