Mark Boyer

Mark left this world way too soon after putting up one heck of a fight.  God saw he was struggling in the bottom of the 9th so he pulled him out of the game here to pinch hit for the “Angels” in heaven!  He loved all things sports and knew trivia and MLB stats like no one else around.  His heart was always with St Louis and all things Cardinal, but KC managed to coax him into rooting for the Chiefs as long as those Cowboys weren’t playing!  He had a heart as wide as the Missouri and always took time to help someone less fortunate which he learned at grandpa Boyer’s feet. You will never find anyone better with words and he could have made a
fortune helping inept guys write their true feelings in a card to that special girl!  Those who knew him well won’t forget the way his baby blue eyes danced when someone he loved walked into the room or the big personality which never left you wondering what he really thought and all those baseball caps!!! To  his family and friends–please know how much he loved you and never forgot the smallest thing you did to help brighten his day. His life reminds us not to take depression or the struggle to beat addiction for granted and that as long as there’s life and breath there’s hope to beat it. It was a privilege to have known and loved him and he’s taken a piece of my heart with him to cheer on that team in heaven. I sure hope God likes red uniforms cause the team can’t wear any other color!! Love you all-Shay.
