Nancy Sue Bailey, 75, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away January 17, 2019 at her home in Lee’s Summit. Ms. Bailey was born March 19, 1943 in Joplin, Missouri.
Nancy grew up in Joplin, Missouri. She attended St. Luke’s school of nursing in Kansas City. Nancy worked as a nurse at St. Luke’s on the plaza, Visiting Nurses Association, and at Lee’s Summit Hospital. She was a wonderful seamstress, cook, and gardener. She had a beautiful flower garden that she tended to.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Lovelace; mother, Gladys Duffey; father, Raymond Duffey; and her dogs, Gracie and Bella.
Survivors include her children, Deborah Bailey, Rebecca Bailey Hundelt, Edward Bailey II; grandchildren, Jessica, Corey, Hannah, Cameron, Bailey, Caleb, and Jacob. She also leaves behind many of her Joplin lifelong friends and classmates.

There will be a private memorial for Nancy at a later date.
