James Richard Stith

James Richard Stith, 64, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away March 30, 2020 at St. Lukes Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.  Services provided by Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, Missouri.

James was born in Fowler, Colorado on July 20, 1955.  He went to Bonner Springs High School, Bonner Springs, Kansas in 1970s. Following high school, he served in the United States Marine Corps for 5 years.  He went on to work at Betty’s Truck Stop and he also worked in Bonner Springs as a volunteer fireman.

James married Donna Stith for 11 years and stayed with his wife for 36 years.  The have one child he went on to college to study nursing and get a degree. James lived in Utah, Illinois; Kansas City, Missouri; Chicago, Illinois and Kansas City, Kansas.  Recently, James lived in Lee’s Summit, Missouri where he worked for Walmart for 5 years before he retired.

He preceded in death by; father, Dr. Rex Albert Stith and mother, Doris wright Stith.  Survivors include; his wife, Donna Stith; his daughter, Jill Susan Stith and agranddaughter.
