Damon R. Pettis

Damon R. Pettis, 32, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away Sunday December 19th, 2021.

Born in Sedalia, Missouri, Damon attended school at Smith Cotton and worked at Tyson and Sedalia Stripping after graduation. He spent his free time attending services at Community of Christ, tinkering with cars and electronics, playing games with his friends, listening to music, and watching TV with his “Meemaw.”

Damon is preceded in death by both of his grandfathers, Tom Pettis and Harold Dean Chiles, as well as his best friend and dog, Shadow, who passed earlier this month.

He is survived by his brother, Rodney Pettis, his mother, Clara Lane, and his grandmother, Pete Jones. Of the home, he is survived by his father, Donald Pettis, and his grandmother, “Meemaw” Mary Pettis.
