Clifford Leon Tweedy Sr.,83, of Sibley, Missouri passed away on December 28th, 2021. Visitation will be at 10:30am with memorial service at 11:00am on Saturday, January 8th at Parkview Community of Christ Church, 801 SW 19th St. Blue Springs, Missouri.
Clifford was born on January 6th, 1938 in Independence, MO to Herbert and Flossie (Stark) Tweedy. Clifford was the youngest of their 3 children. Clifford attended school through the 8th grade when he began working to help out the family. Clifford worked as a construction foreman locally and in Wichita, Kansas.
Clifford married Rosemary Hazelrigg on January 3rd, 1955, they had 4 children together. Clifford married Jeanie James in 1970, they had 1 child together.
Clifford was preceded in death by both of his parents, his brother Charles Tweedy, sister Virginia McDaniel, and his son Clifford Leon Tweedy Jr.
Clifford is survived by his children Susan Patton, Julie Carver (Steve), Sharrye Hagins (Geoff), and Phillip Tweedy; grandchildren Mike Webb, Jeremy Tweedy (Susan), Mary Barber (Michael), Jessica Cunningham (Josh), Michelle Ellinger, Carrie Berry (Jordan), Jennifer Carver, and Jaclyn Fleming (Jake); great-grandchildren Kiley, Katelyn, Chase, Isaaic, Journey, Ivan, Anthony, Abigail, Cooper, Alexa, Benjamin, and Olivia.
