Gary E. Brown Sr.

On July 9, 2023, Gary E. Brown Sr. (76) passed away peacefully with his loved ones next to him. He was born on November 5, 1946, in Springfield, Missouri. He is lived on by many family members, Gary Brown Jr. (Son), Michael and his wife Jessica Brown (Son and Daughter-in-Law), Patricia and her husband Marc Earnest (Daughter and Son-in-Law), Rebekah and her daughter Aria Jones (Granddaughter and Great-Granddaughter), Aspen Reynolds and her son Laiton (Granddaughter and Great-Grandson), Alexandria and Sheridan Ruiz (Granddaughters), Maddie and Ella Brown(Granddaughters), Raven and Jade Earnest (Granddaughters). He is preceded in death by Lyle and Dorothy Brown (Parents), John Brown(Brother), Anthony and Anna-Marie Earnest (Grandchildren), and Alyssa Ruiz (Granddaughter).

He grew up in Sunbright, Tennessee, and lived there until he joined the military. Joining straight out of high school, Gary served in the United States Air Force during 1965-1968 and 1970. He obtained Sergeant E4 while he served. After the military, he had many different jobs, to include owning a restaurant, construction business, and car dealership in Florida at different points in his life.

His funeral procession will be at 8:30 am at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO on July 18, 2023. The service will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO at 10:00 am July 18, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to join the service.
