Rosalind Joan Philpott Webb

Rosalind J. Webb ( Philpott ), 82, of Leawood KS died January 8th, 2024 at Kansas City Hospice House just a few days after her arrival. She died peacefully surrounded by what she loved most. Family, flowers, music, and books.

Roz was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband Ray Webb, parents Louie and Mildred Philpott, brother Donald Philpott, sisters Constance Philpott and Patricia Hininger, and granddaughter Amy.

She is survived by her sister Nancy Wrinkle and her husband Mickey, brother Samuel Philpott and his wife Sandra, daughter Rae Swatzell and husband Mark, her daughter Rhonda Webb, four grandchildren Eric Gormly, Mark Komoroski Jr, Wendy Biggs, and Jake Swatzell, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her career took her down the path of business owner, several positions in Jackson County government as well as others too numerous to mention and she retired as a legal assistant and secretary from a prominent Kansas City Law firm. Rozzie (or Roz) loved the arts and was an avid reader and writer while tending to the birds in her flower garden. She was also a fan of Jeopardy. Rosalind will be truly missed and remembered by all those who loved her so dearly. May she rest in peace.

Honoring her request there will be no funeral, with a celebration of life at a later date.
