Eileen Kober

Eileen Kober, 56, of Kansas City, MO passed away August 21, 2023.

Eileen was born on May 9th, 1967, in Wichita, Kansas to parents Patrick and Sharon McDonough. Eileen married Greg Kober in 1999. They had two children Tabatha and Nicholas. Keeping up with her children and grandchild brought her immense joy. Eileen had a big heart, was incredibly generous and she loved caring for people. This was embodied in the time she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Medical Assistant. She kept herself busy with various arts and crafts over the years, photography, talking with her friends and sisters on the phone, and attending country music concerts were some of her favorite hobbies.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Sharon McDonough, brother Sean McDonough and niece Lucia Fierro.

Survivors of Eileen include her husband Greg Kober, daughter Tabatha (Dylan) Buessing; son Nicholas (Alivia) Kober; grandson Axel Kober; sisters Amanda (Don) Winchester and Molly McDonough, and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Eileen will be held Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, at City Center Church (17500 W. 87th Street Parkway Lenexa, Kansas 66219, Door 5). Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and her memorial service will follow starting at 11:00 AM.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to donations to the church, Shelter Kansas City Women’s Center, Kansas City Veterans Community Project, Friends in Service of Heroes, or any other worthy causes.
