Anthony G. Prete, 78, Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at the Regency Care Center. His ashes will be laid to rest 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Anthony was born March 11, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY. He served his country during WWII in the Navy and worked for many years as a Registered Nurse in the KC area. He is survived by his son and two grandchildren.
