Beverly McElveney

Beverly A. McElveney of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 76 years of age.  Bev was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret Ringwood of Rochester, NY.  She is survived by her husband, Bill, of 56 years; her son Tom and his wife Kristi McElveney along with their 4 children-Nathan, Patrick, Andrew and Brian; her daughter Kate and her husband Rich Riffel and their 6 children-Maggie, Danny, Jack, Molly, Annie and Lizzy.  Bev was born in Rochester, NY and resided in Elmira for 47 years.  She was a member of the Elmira Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf and was an avid bridge player.  A Memorial Mass will be held in her honor at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Saturday, June 12th at 12:00 noon.  Immediately following the service there will be a luncheon at the Elmira Country Club.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to The Lourdes Fund c/o Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Demarest Parkway, Elmira, NY 14905.
