Carol Lynn Holtz, 61, of Lee’s Summit MO, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends April 11, 2010 after losing her 9 year battle with breast cancer. Carol was born September 16, 1948, in Long Island NY to Frederick and Doris Bedell. She was married to Thomas Holtz for 38 years having two children, Jason Holtz and Kristin Conlon, and two beautiful grandchildren which brought her true joy. Her overwhelming desire to live life was displayed in her courageous and heroic fight against breast cancer. She lived her life for others, finding great joy in the happiness of those around her. Through her laughter, loyalty, and love she touched the hearts of everyone she met. Gone too soon, a truly beautiful soul who will be forever missed and never forgotten (arr. Don’t think of her as gone away – her journey’s just begun. Life holds so many facets – this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched…for nothing loved is ever lost – and she was loved so much.

I just found out about Carol’s passing, Carol was my sisters good friend from high school on. and I remember the family very well, It is so sad to hear of her passing, I remember her as being funny, upbeat and very caring.
