Charles Miller

Charles “Red” Dean Miller, 78, Independence, MO passed away Thursday, November 6, 2003 at his home. Cremation. There will be a Memorial Luncheon in his honor, 12:00-5:00 PM, Sunday, November 9, 2003 at the home of his daughter, Judy. Please call heartland if directions are needed. He will be buried next to his beloved wife, Alice, in Higginsville, MO. Red was born June 2, 1925 in Conception Junction, MO to Virgil and Stella Miller. He was married on February 13, 1952 to Alice Griffel. He was a WWII Veteran. He retired from Research Hospital in 1991. However, he went back to work part-time shortly after his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Red is survived by his three daughters, Sue Martin, Debbie Stites and Judy Earring, all of Independence, MO; two sons, Tim Miller, Blue Springs, MO and Mark Miller, Independence, MO; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was a kind and generous father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved dearly.
