Charlie Cauthon

Charles "Charlie" Cauthon, 59, Raytown, MO passed away Sept 30, 2008 at the KC VA Medical Center. Military graveside services will be held 12 PM, Friday, Oct 3, 2008 at Missouri Military Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Charles was born Aug 13, 1949 in Pittsburg, KS. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served two tours of duty, where he was honored to serve as a paratrooper and in recon. Charlie was a KC Police officer from 71-74. He later worked as a Veterans Representative for the State of Missouri. Charlie was a life member of the VFW Post #1829 and the Loma Vista DAV. He was preceded in death by his parents. Charlie is survived by; wife, Fran, of the home; sons, Shawn & Matthew Cauthon, KC, MO; step daughter, Christina Turner, Independence, MO; step son, David Ailshire, Belton, MO; 2 step granddaughters, and 2 step grandsons.
