Chris Stephen Croxton, 57, Olathe, Kan., passed away November 16, 2008, at home. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the College Church of the Nazarene, Olathe. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, Shawnee, Kan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Hospice or the Salvation Army. Chris was born Nov. 24, 1950, in Springfield, Ill. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Croxton. Survivors include wife, Gail Croxton; mother, Gloria Croxton; daughter, Lindsay Croxton; son, Ryan Croxton; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and George Nevill; granddaughter, Madison Huffman; and many in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

I got thinking about you guys and started a search. I immediately found this. Gail, I am so sorry to hear about Chris’ passing. You, Chris and your children are in my prayers. When I think of Chris I think of that time he hit that skunk in his mom’s car and how mad you were at him for swerving to hit it. It was funny. He was always such a fun and funny guy. I have passed this on to Cindy Koskey and Mike O’Shea.
