Della-Jane Fischer, 59, Kansas City, Mo., passed away May 5, 2009. She is survived by her husband George Medina and mother Merriam (Siegel) Fischer. Memorial gathering Saturday, May 9, 2- 4 p.m. at Heartland Cremation, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo.

My recollections of Della are of a kind and loving young woman who deserved all the best things life has to offer us.
She had a sweetness and open-ness that I’m sure will be missed by all those who were close to her.
