Diane Layman

Diane Layman passed away on December 12, 2006, following a long illness. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 15, at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. Diane was born January 9, 1947, to Leslie and Genevieve Seedorff in Oelwein, Iowa. She is survived by her parents; husband Charles Layman; son and daughter-in-law Brian and Kelli Trask and her beloved grandchildren Kameron and Olivia, as well as her stepchildren Scott and Chris Layman. She also leaves behind a brother Randy Seedorff; four sisters, Alice Dennis, Linda Amos, Vonna Seedorff, Brenda Ray and extended family. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. She cherished her times at the lake with her grandchildren, fishing, planting wildflowers and boating. The family requests memorials to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Mo., in lieu of flowers. The family would like to thank Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care for their extreme kindness.
