Donna Sue Battles, 57, Independence, MO passed away June 6, 2003. Memorial services will be held 7 PM, Tuesday, June 10th at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. Friends may call 6-7 prior to the service. Donna was born February 12, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Allen Battles; and brother, Bob Vest. Survivors include: husband, Gene Battles, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Carrie & Steve Burkhart, Greenwoood, MO; son, Mike Battles, Greenwood, MO; son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Natalie Battles, Independence, MO; sister Sharon Bradford, KCMO; brother, James Vest, Pleasant Hill, MO; grandchildren, Mia, Todd, Chase, Chad, Dillon, Tanner, and many nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters-in-law.
