Dorothy Doom

Dorothy J. Doom, 90, Overland Park, KS died December 21, 2008 after a lengthy illness.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 27th at the Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS 66208.  Dorothy was born in Beloit, KS and lived her early years there.  She lived in Lawrence, KS during her high school and college years and then moved to Kansas City.  SHe lived in Prairie VIllage for over 50 years.  Dorothy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Everton; two saughters, Nancy Harrell (Jon) of Kansas City, MO and Terri Frazell (Kevin) of Woodbury, MN; and three grandchildren, Jason Frazell of New York City, NY, Ben Frazell (Emily) of Washington, DC, and Sarah Frazell of Woodbury, MN.  A special thank you to the staff at Villa St. Joseph and Care Alternatives Hospice for the loving care they gave Dorothy over the last two years.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Care Alternatives Hospice, 1420 NW Vivion Road #105, KCMO 64118 or the Village Presbyterian Church.
