Dr. Henry M. Louis, Jr.

Dr. Henry M. Louis, Jr., 65, Shawnee, KS, passed away September 4, 2005 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Cremation. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. September 8 at Church of the Resurrection, 135th & Nall in Wesley Covenant Chapel (on east side of church). Visitation will be 79 p.m., September 7, at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Louis Scholarship for International Students, Endowment/K.C.K.C.C., 7250 State Ave., KCK, 66112. Dr. Louis was a member of Church of the Resurrection. He was the Dean of Social Science at Kansas City Kansas Community College and spent 39 years in Education. He was a worldwide traveler leading spring break trips for K.C.K.C.C. for 36 years. Dr. Louis is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela; his mother, Mary Ellen Louis; children, Jason Louis and Phoebe Lewis and husband, Michael; sisters, Nancy Gant, Sharyn Haynes and Brenda Lee; and granddaughter, Rebecca Lewis.
