Elaine Sajovic, born Alice Elaine Schultz on July 16th, 1920, to Alice Schultz and August E. Schultz of Schleswig, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Palm Sunday, April 9th, 2006, in Kansas City, Missouri. Elaine married William Sajovic in Chicago. They later moved to Park Forest, Illinois, where she would spend close to 30 years as wife, mother, teacher, artist, friend of many, and dedicated member of Hope Lutheran Church. Elaine moved to Kansas City, Missouri, in 1983, after the passing of her dear husband Bill. Elaine volunteered at the Nelson-Atkins Museum, Baptist Hospital, and various nursing homes. She continued to paint, sew, play bridge with friends, and was an essential part of the lives of both her grandchildren and her son. Elaine was active and true to her faith, while sharing her love of life and the arts with others. Elaine leaves behind her son Jim Sajovic and his wife Heather Gray Sajovic, and her grandchildren Anna Sajovic, Aren Sajovic and his wife, Daphne Jackson Sajovic. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM, May 20, 2006, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 9100 Lamar, OPKS. Please send gifts to: National Parkinson Foundation, Inc.
