Ellen Gicante

Ellen Gicante from Peculiar , MO, 74, passed away on January 12, 2007 at home. She was born in Larned, Kansas on October 26, 1932. She is survived by her spouse of 27 years, John II. She is also survived by 6 children – Sue of Kansas City, MO, Terrie of Kansas City, KS, Kim of Manhattan, KS, Nadine of Running Springs, CA, Katrina of St Louis, MO, and David of Peculiar, MO. She also leaves 5 stepchildren Patty of Portland, OR, Cathy of Kansas City, MO, John III of Petersburg, Texas, Mike of St Louis, MO, and Raymond of Story City Iowa, 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a sister Carolyn Taylor. She is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Norma Garton, and two beloved children Kathy Lynn in 1956 and Thomas Kevin in 1958. A memorial service celebrating Ellen’s life will be held on January 27, 2007 from 3p – 8pm at the FOP in Kansas City, Kansas, 7844 Leavenworth, Rd, Kansas City, KS. Ellen requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the St Jude Children’s Foundation.
