A Mother, Sister, Friend.

Born March 18, 1932 Deceased March 12, 2008.

Flordine left this earthly journey March 12, 2008, six days prior to her 76^th birthday.  The daughter of Ed & Flossie Staten Howard, Flordine was born in Kansas City, MO.  She attended Attucks Elementary School and R.T. Coles High School.  She worked as a shirt presser at Martins Cleaners for many years.  She received a Certificate after her retirement, in Real Estate from Penn Valley Community College in 1987.  She completed this journey to meet the loved ones who preceded her to the next plain.  Her parents, (3) brothers, Frank Howard, Louis (L.S.) Howard, Jesse Howard, a twin sister Nadine Howard Epps, one grandson Dameon Howard.  She is survived by 2 sisters, Jeanette Preston, Lela Mae (Susie) Jackson, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  A special mention to her friend Adell Galloway.  Remains were entrusted for cremation to Heartland Crematory 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd.  God never shuts one door without opening another
