Harlin “Shorty” Wright, 87, Kansas City, MO, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on June 26, 2005. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday June 29 at Holmeswood Baptist Church, Kansas City, MO. Burial at a later date. Harlin was born February 18, 1918, in Humansville, MO. He was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran. Harlin is survived by wife of 65 years, Jane (Black) Wright; daughter and son-in-law Jo Christine and Michael Jinks; son and daughterin-law Thomas Morris and Stacy Wright; seven grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; sisters JoAnn Carol, Ruth Reynolds; brother Ted Wright; and uncle Lee Holbert.
