James Hickisch, 65, Raytown, Mo., passed away September 6, 2008. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, with a visitation starting at 9 a.m. James is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolin; mother, Amelia Cassidy; sons, James and Bobby Hickisch; brothers, Robert, Patrick and Thomas Cassidy; sisters, Nora Franklin, Patricia Malinowski, Kathy Zieja, Mary Griffin, Barbara Fitzsimmons and Ann Beranek. He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Amelia; father, Hugo; and step-father, Robert Cassidy.
