Janet Sue Stanton, 59, passed away May 3, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM, Monday, May 8th at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown. Janet is survived by her husband Robert (Mick), son Matthew Brady, daughter Meghan Brady, grandson Skyler, mother Jane Schroeder of Las Vegas, NV, brothers Charles, Stephen, Michael, and Donald. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to American Cancer Society for bone cancer research.

Dear Matt and Megan, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. It was quite surprising. I always remembered she had a bright spark about her that I always liked. She made everyone around her feel so wam in her presence. My prayers are with you and the rest of your family. I hope God surrounds you with her warmth and love!
Matthew and Megan: I hope you know how many years of memories your mom and I had. She was there for me when I needed someone to lean on; I hope I was there for her, too. She was one classy lady with an incredible ability to continue on even after great personal sacrifice. I admired her for that. Please know that I’m here if you want to reminisce or want help in remembering the good times we had especially when you kids were small.
