Jerry M. Roach, 77, died Saturday, February 25, 2005, at Kingswood Health Center in Kansas City, MO. A Graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, and a former drawing instructor there. Mr. Roach was a painter of Western landscapes, and a freelance artist whose clients included Hallmark, Inc. Mr. Roach was born, June 21, 1927, to Neal and Lena Roach of Shawnee, OK. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific in 1945 and 1946. He married Carol C. Smith in 1984, and she survives. Mr. Roach’s family includes a sister, five brothers (of whom survive), two daughters, a step-son and stepdaughter and two grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend an open house reception in Mr. Roach’s memory, at his home from 4-6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2005.
